Lupek is a rover that will someday be deployed to Mun. It is the KSA's first rover and the team developing it has worked up some automated driving software to allow it to drive itself around. The software has already managed to get Lupek over 300km in previous drives, and now the team is finally ready to turn the rover loose across Kerbin with a full suite of instruments and sensors as it will be equipped when roving around Mun. Previously the rover traveled with a pace vehicle alongside for fast code patches and better monitoring, but now the rover is setting out completely on its own.

The drive to W3 suffered numerous delays that required code patching, but Lupek made it with only minor troubles - the rover bottomed out after returning to level ground from a slope it was speeding down. A battery was destroyed and the team made adjustments to have it better control its speed driving down a slope. The route to W4 will require a large descent and the rover will only do so at 4m/s max speed, so ETA is several hours.
